Lex's 24th Birthday.

The Birthday Boy!

Lex's Birthday was on Sunday, December 13th. To celebrate we went with his family to Gun Barrel on Saturday night. After dinner we headed over to his parent's house for some games. We played scum for a while and then signs. Games are always fun to play with the Ence's but it was so much fun because we had so many people there. Thanks to everyone for making Lex's birthday so fun!
24 things about Lex:
Lex has his own Insurance company with his dad and brothers.
He is a wonderful father.
He served a mission in Mexico.
He loves to watch movies.
He works hard at everything he does.
He gives over 100% in all that he does, even cleaning. (Sometimes I get mad because he takes too long cleaning...I know stupid me!)
His little boy already smiles non stop when his daddy walks through the door.
He would drop anything he is doing to help someone else out.
He makes me want to be a better person.
He is a very careful driver (that means a slow driver).
He loves to be around family and friends.
His favorite part of his week is Saturday morning football or basketball.
He doesn't get involved in gossip (He forgets to tell me things that he hears).
He loves Country music.
He loves to drive (I hardly ever drive when we are together).
He loves Honolulu Grill.
He eats anything I cook and tells me that it is delicious, even when I know it is NOT!
He broke his wrist a week after we started dating, and it still isnt back to where it was.
He is a great primary teacher, all the kids love him, as well as the primary presidency. (I don't think he will ever get released)

He first time he cooked me dinner he set off the fire alarms.
He loves to go to lunch with his dad and brothers.
He loves action movies but ends up watching my chick flicks often.
He is better at putting William to sleep than I am.

Mallory and Andrew's Wedding

Wow, I am slacking as a friend! Andrew and Mal got married almost two months ago and I am now just posting about it! I am so excited for these two, but most of all I am so excited that we are all married so now we can hang out. The wedding was so beautiful, and who makes a prettier bride than mal? seriously, she looked gorgeous! The reception was so much fun, I saw a lot of friends that I don't see much of anymore and made them all step into the photo booth for a group picture! It was a blast!

I hope that you two enjoy the newlywed stage, it is a blast! We love the both of you and just have one thing to say, Congratulations!

Eight months.

I can't believe that William is eight months old already!
He is so stinkin' adorable these days, he has made some big steps this month! Lex and I know that we are so lucky to have him here and be able to enjoy all of his blessings! He just get's funner and funner each day!
Fun facts about Will at eight months:
-William is crawling! He started right after he was seven months, but it took him a while to realize that he could come and get me when I walked away. But he officially follows me around the house.
-Will is still wearing size 3 diapers.
-He has started eating, graham crackers, nilla wafers, baby food, drinking juice, water, and sometimes grandma michelle sneeks him some chocolate, against mom's orders!
-He has won the heart of everyone he has ever met! He has more friends than his mom does!
-He goes to sleep faster when his dad rocks him, when I rock him it takes longer!
-He listens to a CD to go to bed that his auntie Krista made him, it is cute primary children songs.
-He has been to more states and more movies in his eight months of life than most people.
-He loves his Johnny Jumper.
-He wakes up in the night, and yell's until Lex and I come to get him (usually his dad), and when we walk in he is standing up in his crib closest to the door.
-He has said "mama" a couple of times, but when he is crying. He doesn't say it a lot, and I am sure he doesn't know what he is saying.
-He crawls under the Christmas tree and shakes a branch until something fall's off of it that he can play with, or he gets the tree skirt and rips it out from under the tree.
-His personality is really starting to show, and it is so much fun!
-He is getting cuter and cuter every day!

Seven months.

I can't believe William's seventh month came and went so fast! This month he was kind of in transitions, almost crawling, almost saying "dada", almost getting the hang of eating, etc. He has been a good baby from the get go, and Lex and I can't believe how lucky we are to have him. We don't really remember what life was like before we had him.

Fun facts about Will at seven months:
-He said "dada" this month, but hasn't said it since.
-He is not that great at eating foods, he makes really funny faces and clears his throat a lot when eating.
-He still loves his baths.
-He wears size 3 diapers.
-He doesn't complain a lot, even when his older cousins are all over him.
-He takes really good naps at Grandma Debbie's house while mom is at school.
-He gets up on all fours and rocks, takes one step, and falls on his tummy.
-He can roll across the room in a matter of seconds.
-He still hates his binkies, and now I am really wishing he would love them.
-He is really starting to warm up his vocal chords, if he finds that he is some where where his voice echo's, he yell's and yell's and yell's. He likes to hear his own voice I guess.
-He still has NO TEETH! But truly, I am not complaining!
-He is getting cuter and cuter every single day!

Happy Halloween-2009.

My mom threw a Halloween Party for the family yesterday on the 30th. It was a Pirate halloween party with lots of fun games and yummy food. William was dressed as a frog for my moms party. The funnest game was called "Bombs Away"...this game consisted of two laundry baskets, all of grandpas socks folded up, and two teams. The object of the game was simple try to get as many socks into the other teams basket as you can but by staying behind the lines. It was a hoot, all the children started the game and by the end all the adults their were throwing the "bombs"!
Then on Halloween day we went to our ward party and had a yummy dinner and saw all of our cute primary kids and young women dressed up. We ended up in Bloomington at my parents where we ended up handing out all the candy. It was fun though, Will was in his frog costume for the ward party but then we decided to change him into the Lion costume at my parents house. I wanted to put whiskers on him but ten seconds after I painted on his whiskers he rubbed his face and smeared it all over, but I still thought it was pretty cute so I took the pictures with it all smeared. Lex and I love to see all the kids dressed up and Bloomington is the place to be to see lots of kids. We are wrapping up our Halloween night by watching a couple episodes of our new favorite show, NCIS. All in all it was a really fun Halloween! And we think we had the cutest little "frog" and "lion" out their!

Thriller!

The other night we went to Thriller with Jed, Anna and Bryson. It was so much fun, I love it year after year. It was a freezing cold night, we had layers and layers of clothing on with blankets and I was still freezing! It was so worth it! William loved it too because he got to spend the evening at his Grandma Debbies. I am already looking forward to next year!

Fun Facts about Will at Six months:

-He now eats rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and squash. He has also tried juice and seems to like eating pretty well.

-He is a mover, he rolls all over the place.

-He sleeps in his crib all night and mom and dad are loving it.

-He gets to spend lots of time with his grandmas since dad is working and mom is at school.

-He has to be entertained all the time or he will let you know that he is not happy.

-He hardly ever cries, only when he is extremely hungry.

-Lex says every day that he is so close to crawling, I think we still got a little while.

-He absolutely hates binkies now, which is funny because last month it was probably the most important thing for me to have at all times, but now he just screams when you try to give him one.

-He just patiently waits for someone to look at him and then when they do his whole face lights up and he starts whipping his arms and legs around with a big smile.

-He melts my heart when he smiles at me!

-He is getting cuter and cuter every day!
